QUALITY COMICS opened NJ's FIRST COMIC BOOK SHOP in the late Summer of 1976 in Princeton, NJ. Over the years becoming an internationally recognized and important source of Vintage Comics and Collectibles. Among its many accomplishments: towards the end of the 70's QUALITY COMICS became the first comic book store in the US to import Japanese Manga, Anime Videos, Mecha, figures, toys, model kits, posters and T-Shirts.
Earl in the 1980's, QC added a definitive CULT VIDEO department so notorious that BILLBOARD Magazine ran an article about it. This video service was listed as an important source in several early Roger Ebert books. THE TWONKY, as the collection was known, was also mentioned numerous times in the New York Daily News syndicated "Phantom of the Movies" column among others.
In 1998, Quality Comics started listing vintage collectibles on the original NEET STUFF web site. Over the years the site has moved around about until it landed HERE
Meanwhile the physical brick and mortar shop closed its physical store in 2008 continuing to this day as an online entity only
