This is the series that cemented Miller's position among the pantheon of comic book creators and led to his re-inventing The Batman in The Dark Knight Returns.

Issues are FINE or BETTER CONDITION with the slightest traces of the normal amount of minor wear and stress to edges & spine associated with having been read, handled and stored. See scanned images.

NOTE: Scarce issue #6 has the original fold-out gateway "poster" still attached. There is however a minor printing error on back cover of a horizontal scratch that goes across the back of the cover midway.

Frank Miller (born January 27, 1957) is an American writer, artist, and film director best known for his dark comic book stories and graphic novels such as Ronin, Daredevil: Born Again, The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City and 300. He also directed the film version of The Spirit, shared directing duties with Robert Rodriguez on Sin City, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and produced the film 300. Rōnin is a comic book limited series published between 1983 and 1984, by DC Comics. The series was written and drawn by Frank Miller with artwork painted by Lynn Varley. It takes place in a dystopic near-future New York in which a ronin is reincarnated. The six-issue work shows some of the strongest influences of manga and bande dessinée on Miller's style, both in the artwork and narrative style. (wiki)
