Nice, used, VERY GOOD+++ or MUCH BETTER, Some of the small usual softeness & wear to corners, edges from being read, handled and stored.

Highly Collectable 1940s illustrated paperback series from Royce Publishers. These "Quick Reader" are designed to look like a hardcover book with a simulated spine and pages ends on the bottom. A scarce & VERY difficult little 49 Booklet series to collect especially in this condition.

Nifty little 3-1/8" x 4-5/8" paperbacks from World War II Era. Great covers with quirky interior illustrations. Actually the closest thing I've ever seen to being a "pocket book" since these books are small and slim & would easily fit into even your shirt pocket. Must have been popular with GI's. Subject matter leans toward the lurid, even "Classics" are given a "pulpy" patina. Slightly edited reprints with illustrations, designed for carrying in a pocket & reading on trains, waiting for a bus, doing laundry, etc.

Kindly refer to image scanned, it is faithful and representative.
