Continuing the Birds of Prey: Revolution series begun back in 1997, Chuck Dixon has now teamed with Greg Land and Drew Geraci to continue the amazing team-up of Oracle and Black Canary.

Commissioner James Gordon’s librarian daughter Barbara led a secret life as Batgirl until the night they received a visit from the Joker (Batman: The Killing Joke). His bullets severed her spine and confined her to a wheelchair. Now she uses her skills as an information specialist to dig up knowledge and run background checks with her home computer system, helping those heroes who need information fast and accurate. She is now known to the super-hero community only as Oracle.

Life goes on even after the man you love dies. Dinah Lance (first seen in Justice League of America #75) continues to help those who need help with her fighting skills as the Black Canary. But a person can only do so much alone, and she discovers that she’s a lot more effective with the information provided by the mysterious Oracle. A friendship develops over the communication lines they use and a partnership is slowly forged.
