CREEPY Is largely a horror-comics magazine published by Warren Publishing from 1966 to February 1983. Inspired by how MAD MAGAZINE had avoided the need of obtaining approval from the Comics Code Authority by publishing it as a black-and-white newsstand publication in magazine format. 
 An anthology magazine, it initially was published quarterly but later went bimonthly. Each issue's stories were introduced by the host character, Uncle Creepy and was followed by EERIE and VAMPIRELLA
