Nifty little 3-1/8" x 4-5/8" paperbacks from World War II Era. Great covers with quirky interior illustrations. Actually the closest thing I've ever seen to being a "pocket book" since these books are small and slim & would easily fit into even your shirt pocket. Must have been popular with GI's. Subject matter leans toward the lurid, even "Classics" are given a "pulpy" patina. Slightly edited reprints with illustrations, designed for carrying in a pocket & reading on trains, waiting for a bus, doing laundry, etc.

"A Story to Electrify Every Fiber of Your Body." Two men who have hated each other since before the Dead Sea was just sick, and who were rivals for the same woman, continue their life-and-death struggle when one of them is charged with that woman's murder, and the other steps forward with damning evidence. An abridged version (not to worry, though, because the publisher promises us that "Only the excess material has been cut away.") of a story first published in 1942. 128 pages

Nice VERY GOOD+++ or MUCH BETTER, Some of the small usual softeness & wear to corners, edges from being read, handled and stored.
